Meet the Team

  • Youssouf will graduate with a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a master's in Electrical Engineering in 2024.

    He conducted research on oceanic fluid flow with Paul D. Ronney, a NASA astronaut.

    He has a proven track record with subtractive and additive manufacturing and is currently working as a machine shop assistant at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering.

    With an idea to simplify the high-precision manufacturing world, Youssouf co-founded edmX.

  • Aiden Walters is set to graduate from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2024 with a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a master's in Product Development.

    Aiden has contributed to manufacturing the largest combustion sphere in the United States for Shell plc. The sphere helped optimize Shell's proprietary high-octane racing fuel.

    In the past, he interned for Capsula TAU, a climate tech startup accelerator as a business developer. Aiden is currently co-authoring a textbook on Innovative Design Thinking Framework (IDT) for product development with USC Professor Stephen Lu. IDT has been utilized by Apple and Microsoft.

    In 2023, he co-founded edmX with his business partner Youssouf Keita.

  • Ethan is set to graduate from the University of Southern California in 2024 with a bachelor's in Astronautical Engineering and a master's in Mechanical Engineering.

    In the past, Ethan worked as a controls engineer for The Aerospace Corporation, Noblis, and SpaceX.

    Ethan has three years of experience in robotic control research, conducting cutting-edge research in legged robotic locomotion.

  • Cecil will graduate from the University of Southern California in 2024 with a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a master's in Astronautical Engineering.

    In the past, Cecil has worked at Honeybee Robotics and NASA JPL as a Mechanical Engineer.

    With experience in manufacturing, design, and engineering leadership, he started his robotic rover club at USC.

  • Jaiden is set to graduate from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's and master's in Mechanical Engineering in 2025.

    Jaiden has worked for General Atomics, HoneyBee Robotics, MATLAB, and in an Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering design lab at USC.

    Additionally, he has three years of experience with mechanical design, CNC, 3-D printing, and mechatronic systems.
